I am sick to death of the profanity (that is PC for being a nasty fucker) and self-abuse (that is PC for jerking off) that being PC has become. It was great when words that caused pain were retired. I don’t care who you are, or what your lawyer told you was a good excuse, your use of a word that at one time offended you (and if uttered by someone different than you, still “causes you pain”) is offensive to me. I think we should start being more Fully Understanding. For those who are PC, I say, no…FU.
The words do not matter, but your presumption that:
- I give a leaping fuck (I apologize to the leaping fuckers out there, I mean no disrespect) that you can use the word, and think I can’t. FU! How do you know it doesn’t apply to me, you moron?
- You using the word helps you to “own” it. FU! I could use the word, if I wanted. I mean, I COULD use the word antidisestablishmentarianism, too…but I don’t. No sense in sounding either too smart, or too stupid.
- Because the word applies to you, and you say it, you aren’t absolutely pissing off every other person it applies to. FU! Maybe you aren’t the only person on earth, you prick.
isn’t winning you any friends.
People always have, and always will, group people by skin colour, religion, country of origin, sexual orientation, sex…even age. The funny thing is…when you read this, you are likely going to read it from your point of view (grouping things in YOUR way). Funnier thing is…you’ll assume I was talking about you…so take your hurt feelings, and…FU!
