She is following the money. She has a book deal and many people will pay for her to come speak. She had her hand slapped for spending Alaska money to take her family and travel around the nation for events unrelated to Alaska business. This way she can do it without having to pay anybody back for the money she is getting.
I’m sure she is thinks she could run for president, but the other republicans are just getting more and more ammo against her when she doesn’t even complete one term in office as governor. She may run in the primaries, but she won’t get to the end.
This is of course… IMHO…
